The course addresses a number of issues in the multidisciplinary field of new nanotechnologies applied to medicine. In recent years, nanotechnology has revolutionized striking industrial applications in various areas.
This training program includes a several basic contents together with a review of both the new diagnostic tools based on nano systems and the new therapeutic approaches based on controlled drug release.

CIBER-BBN is a public research center that brings together excellent research groups around the country in the fields of bioengineering, biomaterials and nanomedicine. The added value that presents this course is twofold. On one hand, the fact that the teaching will be taught by leading researchers in the field, and on the other hand, the inclusion of all aspects in the chain translational research from basic science to the product.
In short, the course offers a comprehensive multidisciplinary training so that, at the end of the course, students have a solid formation in order to target career sectors, both industrial and academic research.
