Nanomedicine for the treatment of Chagas disease
NANOMOL, in collaboration with all the other partners of the EU project BERENICE, is working on the development of an improved nanotechnological version of the drug used for the treatment of Chagas disease. This new treatment is expected to improve the drug efficacy and to reduce the intrinsic side effects.
Despite its side effects, the treatment of the Chagas disease has been unaltered for the last 50 years. Nanomol group, in collaboration with all the other partners of the EU project BERENICE, is working on the developing of an improved nanotechnological version of the same drug.
