Researchers of NANOMOL were invited to attend the Fourth International Workshop on Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies, held from 17 to 21 September at the Palace of Congresses of Ciudad de la Havana (Cuba). Prof. Jaume Veciana, Dr. Nora Ventosa, and Dr. Imma Ratera as conference speakers were received by Dr. Fidel Castro Díaz-Balart, president of the organizing committee.
These workshops are biennial events that take place in Havana and are conceived as an academic space and an exchange forum of knowledge and experiences; both essential for the scientific debate on the characteristics and main tendencies of these subjects in the present-day world. They are also conceived to inform and to inspire young talents that will support the development of our societies, through the valuable contribution of Invited Conferences of well-known scientists, the works’ presentation, poster, and panels’ realization; the main tendencies and challenges are shown. It promotes the international dialogue, between scientists and other professionals.
