Prof. Concepció Rovira collecting the prize of the 2013 IUPAC
Prof. Concepció Rovira, one of the winners of IUPAC 2013 Distinguished Women in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, awarded by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry, at the ceremony celebrated during the "IUPAC World Congress" held in Istanbul (Turkey) from 11 to 16 August.

Nanomedicine for the treatment of Chagas disease
NANOMOL, in collaboration with all the other partners of the EU project BERENICE, is working on the development of an improved nanotechnological version of the drug used for the treatment of Chagas disease. This new treatment is expected to improve the drug efficacy and to reduce the intrinsic side effects.
